SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR LEARN TO THRIVE 2024 BY MONDAY, OCTOBER 30 
It’s not too late to submit a proposal for Learn to Thrive 2024! Participate in our Call for Proposals for Learn to Thrive 2024, ACCME’s annual in-person meeting, on May 14-16, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. We encourage our continuing education community to help shape the content of the meeting by submitting: 

  • Inspire and Teach! and Intensive Sessions
  • CE Effectiveness & Best Practices: Engaging in CE Research
  • Better Together: Working Groups

Submit your proposals by Monday, October 30! You are welcome to submit multiple proposals for any option or across multiple options. Learn more about the proposal types.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING LEARN TO THRIVE PLUS
On Tuesday, we were thrilled to welcome 329 participants to our new virtual gathering, Learn to Thrive PLUS! Attendees from nearly 200 accredited providers joined together to network, discuss the most beneficial strategies and resources from Learn to Thrive 2023, and share best practices to improve educational impact. Thank you to our meeting participants, faculty, and staff who made our first Learn to Thrive PLUS meeting a success!

Reminders for Accredited Providers

GET STARTED WITH YEAR-END REPORTING AND MOC LEARNER-COMPLETION DEADLINES
All certifying boards have year-end requirements for their physicians. To best support your learners, please enter their CME for MOC completion data for 2023 in PARS by the deadlines listed below. We encourage you to report this data into PARS on an ongoing basis as they complete activities, preferably within 30 days of the learner completing the activity and evaluation. 

  • Learner completion data should be submitted to PARS by December 1, 2023, for the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).   
  • Learner completion data should be submitted to PARS by December 31, 2023, for the following certifying boards:   
    • American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)  
    • American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)   
    • American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
    • American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS)  
    • American Board of Pathology (ABPath) 
    • American Board of Surgery

2024 ACCREDITATION FEES
In late September, we sent invoices to ACCME-accredited providers as well as those accredited by the California Medical Association, Massachusetts Medical Society, and Missouri State Medical Association (at the request of those state medical societies). Payment will be due by January 31, 2024. The fee schedule is posted here.   

If your organization is accredited by the ACCME or one of the state medical societies listed above and you did not receive this information, please contact info@accme.org. If your organization is accredited by a state medical society not listed above, please contact your accreditor.

  • The Manager, Partnerships and Collaborations plays a crucial role in expanding collaborations across all ACCME stakeholders. We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual who can leverage their industry knowledge, network, and business development skills to enable new collaborations and deepen existing collaborations across the CME ecosystem.
  • The Program Support Analyst is responsible for providing support to ACCME providers, collaboration partners, staff, and volunteers in their use and understanding of PARS. With an orientation toward customer service, this person will support users in inputting data correctly and analyze ACCME’s data for quality and reporting purposes.
