The provider has aligned its professional development of the team with its organizational strategic planning for staffing and succession. During the accreditation period, the provider identified a need to help all members of its CME team become better educators and educational administrators who can effectively problem-solve and handle challenging situations (including faculty concerns). To that end, the provider developed a mentoring program and career ladder to support development of staff into knowledgeable and tactical communicators who comprehend faculty and learners’ needs. In addition, CME staff attend external CME conferences and then share the information at monthly meetings.
