The provider included physicians, nursing professionals, a pharmacist, and an assistant health commissioner representing an inter-agency community overdose action team that took a community-wide collaborative approach to address prevention, harm reduction, treatment, law enforcement, opioid prescription guidelines, education and outreach. The activity was the first in a series of clinician-focused opioid information meetings and allowed attendees to engage with professionals outside of their specialty in addressing prescription opioid overdose issues.
