The provider developed internet enduring versions of a large number of its CME Grand Rounds and regularly scheduled series (RSS) sessions. This has allowed for the creation of over 100 on-demand learning topics that have also been utilized by its GME department for onboarding incoming residents (e.g. learning basic principles of pain management prior to starting residency service). In another example, the provider implemented a mobile device audience response system to deliver scored assessments tied to each individual learner. This approach also allowed the provider to meet the expectations for tracking learner engagement in CME activities registered for continuous board certification.
