In an activity on engaged leadership, instructors discussed strategies to improve presentation skills. The learners practice these skills while being videotaped. The instructors analyze each video with the learners and offer formative feedback to each learner.

The example included multiple-choice questions related to clinical subject matter only. It is unclear how answering these questions reflects an evaluation and feedback related to the learner's communication skills.

The provider presented  advance radiation medicine courses that included team role play and group problem-solving based on types of radiation accidents. However, the provider did not demonstrate that formative feedback was provided to learners about communication skills.

The example utilized a post-test as evidence of, "an evaluation of observed communication skills and formative feedback." This does not meet the expectations of the Critical Elements of this Criterion.
