Criterion 17

The provider utilizes non-education strategies to enhance change as an adjunct to its activities/educational interventions (e.g., reminders, patient feedback).


The literature on effective adult education has demonstrated that the use of reminders or other support strategies can facilitate and sustain change. The accredited provider is asked to augment its education with such support strategies, making them available to learners before and/or after the activities.
