Simple and Effective Communication with CME Planners

Tue, 02/22/2011 - 16:21 — mmartin

Description: How can I make it easier to engage my stakeholders in the planning of accredited CME activities?

ACCME Chief Executive, Murray Kopelow, MD, suggests a simple algorithm CME professionals can use to act as facilitators of practice-based change when planning accredited CME activities. Using familiar concepts of the Plan-Do-Study-Act model, Dr. Kopelow offers five brief questions to help CME professionals and their stakeholders design educational interventions that meet the expectations of the ACCME Criteria while communicating the strategic value of accredited CME to address problems in practice.
