In its self-study report, the provider indicated that its CME program is primarily comprised of jointly sponsored activities in which joint sponsors identify educational needs for activities, develop educational curricula and conduct evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of CME activities. In the survey interview, the provider indicated that it, "defers to the expertise," of its joint sponsors for most of the operation of its CME program.
