The provider described in its self-study report a process to identify professional practice gaps by referencing national data regarding patient safety and medical ethics. However, the provider did not link the professional practice gaps to their learners nor articulate educational needs underlying professional practice gaps in terms of knowledge, competence, or performance in the planning process.
