AHI Seeks Applicants for Healthcare Innovation Award
The Academy for Healthcare Improvement (AHI) aims to inspire healthcare provider innovation and development, and part of that encouragement comes in the form of an award. The submission deadline for this year’s awards has been extended to July 7, 2015. Presented annually at the AHI conference, and now in its fifth year, The Duncan Neuhauser Curricular Innovation Award in Healthcare Improvement recognizes education providers that show innovation and improvment in advancing skills in healthcare. Recipients of the first, second, and third-place awards establish curricula that demonstrate improved clinical, educational, or behavioral processes; innovative approaches to facilitating learning; and methods easily adopted and replicated across other institutions and professions. The winners will be recognized at the annual AHI meeting, and will have the opportunity to present orally to the group their methodology and processes.
This year’s AHI annual conference will take place in October. For more information on submission criteria and requirements, please visit this informational page on the AHI website.
