In response to requests from accredited providers, the ACCME has produced an electronic version of the Accreditation with Commendation emblem that is included on the accreditation certificate sent to those ACCME-accredited providers that achieve Accreditation with Commendation. Overall, approximately 21% of ACCME-accredited providers that have been evaluated under the Accreditation Criteria have achieved Accreditation with Commendation. The ACCME encourages CME providers to celebrate their success in achieving Accreditation with Commendation by informing their community, stakeholders, and the public. We have created the Accreditation with Commendation emblem to support these communications.  Please note:  The Accreditation with Commendation emblem may be used by only ACCME-accredited providers.  State-accredited providers may not use this emblem.

The ACCME encourages all accredited CME providers to communicate the value of their accreditation and accreditation-related accomplishments by informing their community, stakeholders, and the public through press releases, announcements, advertisements, brochures, and other online and print materials.

The ACCME Logo Usage policy and notes, including links to the ACCME logo and the Accreditation with Commendation emblem, are available here. You can also access ACCME Policies by clicking on the Requirements tab, which appears on the top navigation bar of our Web site, then clicking on Accreditation Requirements for CME Providers on the left-hand navigation bar, and selecting Policies & Definitions from the drop-down menu.
