This tutorial offers educational resources to help providers achieve compliance with the criteria in the "Promotes Team-based Education" category of the Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation.

The commendation criteria in the “Promotes Team-based Education” category reward accredited providers that engage interprofessional teams, patient/public representatives, and/or students of the health professions in planning and delivering continuing education.

Please note: The compliance examples describe approaches that would meet the expectations of the criteria; however, they may not include evidence of compliance with the measurement standards for each criterion.

Engages Teams: Members of interprofessional teams are engaged in the planning and delivery of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE).
