What are the consequences of a failed ABP MOC audit?

Published Date:

Providers will receive a warning for the first violation and will not be permitted to submit participant completion information for an activity that fails the audit. The ABP will not revoke MOC points or patient safety credit that has already been issued to physicians who participated in an activity that fails the audit. Future noncompliance with ABP's policies and requirements may result in a change in the provider’s ability to offer ABP MOC credit.
