Accredited CME providers asked, through their feedback and comments, the ACCME to include additional information – in terms of explanation and measurement expectations – in support of any new commendation criteria. In order to be responsive to that feedback, the ACCME is including rationale for each criterion, the critical elements required to demonstrate compliance, and the standards for measuring compliance. Refer to the Menu of New Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation for more detailed information about each criterion in the menu.
