No. In August 2007, the ACCME clarified its policy on Internet CME to describe disclosure that was an active as opposed to passive process. The clarification to the policy is as follows:
"For CME activities in which the learner participates electronically (e.g., via Internet, CD-ROM, satellite broadcasts), all required ACCME information must be transmitted to the learner prior to the learner beginning the CME activity."
It is the intention of the ACCME that all this information be transmitted (not just be accessible) to the learner prior to the learner engaging in the CME activity. In effect, the learner should be made to pass through this information prior to engaging in the CME activity.
